Signs and Symptoms of a Cheating Spouse Or Partner

[ad_1]

The signs and symptoms of a wayward spouse or partner can be either very subtle and hard to detect, or obvious and brazen.

1. Your Spouse suddenly takes keen interest in new music, whereas he/she has never shown an interest in before.

2. You notice your spouse or significant other making comments about a movie, You know you did not watch together; such as “Yeah, that was awesome” or “That movie sucked big time”, “Oh, I love the part when….”

3. Your man who has a disdain for doing laundry, suddenly loves doing his own laundry- with that said, he also seems to time his laundry duties soon after he arrives home.

4. The classic lipstick on the collar or other parts of his shirt. Pay attention also to unexplained glitter.

5. Another obvious red flag is the smell of another man’s or woman’s cologne or perfume on clothing, or hair.

6. Techniques and styles of sex suddenly become extremely different and foreign to you. I am talking way out of the norm here. You may find yourself in positions you had never done together before, or be asked to do things which was never requested of you before.

7. Sex itself can take unexpected turns regarding frequency. Your wayward spouse may suddenly request more sex than your normal routine, or drastically decline in wanting it at all.

8. Your partner’s mood has changed. You notice that he/she is now easily tempered, quick to snap or may pick fights with you deliberately to justify leaving the house to “Take a drive to think”.

9. You may notice that they suddenly keep their cell phones on silent and strapped to their bodies at all times; whereas before, the phone was kept on ringer and placed securely and easily within reach somewhere within a room in the home.

10. You may notice the cell phone going AWOL altogether. He/she may be locking the cell phone in the car altogether and not bringing it into the home at all.

11. Cell phone bills stop coming to the house altogether. When you look up the bill online, you see a pattern of the same number/ numbers being called.

12. You had access to the cell phone bill online, but the password suddenly has changed.

13. Household duties and chores become neglected. You notice your partner spending more time on the Internet or literally lazing around the couch with no interest with the upkeep of the house. He/ she is in a fog-like state, thinking about the other person.

14. Time spent with family also declines. Interest in weekend activities with yourself and the kids, attendance to children’s sports games, time spent alone with you such as date nights, etc….become greatly diminished.

15. More and more sudden and unexplained “Business Trips” keep popping up on the agenda.

16. You notice your significant other taking a drastic new interest on his or her appearance. You may notice a vast amount of new clothing, new colognes or perfumes, new hair-cuts, new shoes, new and different underwear being purchased.

17. You also may notice a sudden diet and exercise regimen they are on. They also may have taken up a new membership at a health club to get into better shape.

18. You may notice the Internet browser history always being deleted. This is a huge red flag to pay attention to. Anyone that deletes everything from the history, has something to hide.

19. You may in fact be accused yourself for having an affair.

20. You notice your partner talks and talks and talks continuously about a member of the opposite sex. He/she may try to even camouflage this person and claim they are gay and nothing is there to worry about.

21. You notice when you come face to face with your partner’s colleagues, that they become shifty and uneasy in your company, oftentimes with very little to say to you, or offer only nervous rambling.

22. Ditto that with mutual friends. If mutual friends suddenly become uneasy around you, they likely know something is up.

23. Usage of new terms of slang. If your partner suddenly takes keen to a new form of language expressions, whereas he has never said these types of words before, this is a sign and a red flag to pay attention to.

24. Mileage in the car does not match that of which he/she tells you they are driving. If you notice a sudden upward or downward spiral of mileage on the car, there is likely a problem.

25. You suddenly get a vast amount of hang up calls on your home phone; and in conjunction with this, the inbound number may be blocked from the caller’s end.

26. You suddenly are left out of functions, such as work holiday parties, or award dinners; whereas prior to this, spouses or significant others were always welcome.

27. You find yourself suddenly showered with unexplained gifts or offers of spending sprees out of the norm; usually unrelated to holidays, birthdays, etc… “Just Because” gifts are nice and everything, however, if your partner is usually stingy and frugal and suddenly showers you with stunning materialistic items, it may be due to feelings of guilt. You know your partner more than anyone, so if his/her spending habits on you suddenly spike, it may be something to be aware of.

28. Your partner who was once nonchalant about your daily plans and activities, may suddenly make a point to constantly inquire about them. If your partner suddenly wishes to know your detailed plans for any given day, such as time you are leaving the home, places you are going to actually be and a time you are going to return home, he/she may be making sure the coast is clear for his/her own activities.

29. Your spouse who was once a credit card only spender with no cash on-hand, suddenly sports large sums of unaccounted for cash in his/her wallet.

30. Finding condoms in his wallet or in his car, when you have already had your tubes tied or are on the pill.

31. Finding male enhancement pills or viagra in his car or in his briefcase.

32. You notice on the cell phone bill he/she is using a calling card frequently. Using a calling card on a cell phone prevents the cell phone company from logging the actual phone number dialed.

33. You are married, yet find yourself introduced to new people by your significant other (Such as at a party or function) as his “first wife”, or her “first husband”.

34. Your partner, who is not normally manicured “Down There”, suddenly begins to wax or shave.

35. You begin to notice the new habit that your significant other is leaving the wedding ring at home before going to work. This may be blatant and in plain sight, such as in the bathroom; or you may accidentally find the ring hidden somewhere such as a cabinet. After he/she comes home, you notice they put it back on. When confronted with this issue, you likely will receive a lame excuse such as “The ring is too tight, or it impairs me at work”.

36. You notice unaccounted for scratches, hickies or bruises on delicate parts of his/her body, such as the neck, breasts, chest or genital areas.

37. You notice on a group (work-related) signed greeting/holiday card that someone of the opposite sex signs their name with a doodled heart at the end or signs it with “Love”.

38. You find a “Just Because” thank you card from a member of the opposite sex tucked in his/her briefcase, thanking him/ her of the “Special friendship” they have and thanking them for all the “Help or advice” they give; and that they can’t imagine life without them in it.

39. Unaccounted for gift-like items show up in the home such as special cuff links, ties, colognes/perfumes, lingerie/underwear or jewelry that you know you did not give to your spouse.

40. That nagging and unsettling “Gut Feeling” that something is not right becomes constant and distracting to you. Gut feelings are rarely wrong.

41. You and your partner used to enjoy free flowing conversation, whereas now, you find yourself greeted with a mumbled hello at the end of the day, followed by stale and stagnant conversations for the rest of the evening. You notice your partner has lost interest in sharing feelings, dreams, and visions for your future together. You may find yourself literally sitting on the couch together all evening long with very little attention paid to you.

42. You may notice the passenger side of the car always readjusted, which does not fit your normal sitting pattern; or you may find strands of hair that don’t belong to you or your children on the interior of the car.

43. You normally take family vacations together as a family, yet he/she suddenly takes off on one solo.

44. You get slammed with an angry outburst over the most benign and innocent of questions. You begin to walk on eggshells in bewilderment and become afraid to even approach your spouse with inquiries.

45. Your joint bank accounts suddenly have less being deposited into them, or suddenly have vast amounts of withdrawals made; without your mutual consent.

46. You run a Google search with his or her name to discover a MySpace or Facebook account they did not tell you about. In conjunction with this, you run a Google search on known screen names they have utilized in the past and discover them belonging to forums of a sexual nature.

47. Similarly, you run his/her name or email address within a social networking search engine and find him/her belonging to places you were never aware of.

48. You discover a secret Post Office box they have rented out. In conjunction with this, you may notice incoming bills, especially the credit card bills no longer showing up at the home address. Keep in mind also, he/she could also be having bills mailed directly to his or her office in lieu of the home.

49. You were once free to come and go on the home computer only to find that your spouse has set up a password sensitive security system you can no longer access. He/she may make dual accounts on the same PC, but his/her own account may suddenly become inaccessible.

50. You notice he/she has set up a remote desktop location account on the PC and is accessing another computer entirely from your home.

Reverse Gears: Functions and the Evolution of New Technology

[ad_1]

Gears are an integral component of most mechanical devices that are in use today. Gears have wide ranging functions, but they are used for transmitting motion between two shafts. Moreover, they provide torque to a device that a fast spinning small motor cannot provide. Another important feature of gears is that they give direction to the process of rotation. This article provides information about just these types of gears, specifically reverse gears.

A pair of gears, one present on the counter shaft and the other on the output shaft are used to implement the process of ‘reverse’. As opposed to forward gears that are meshed together, there is some amount of space between the reverse gears. Another point of differentiation from forward gears is that reverse gears are joined to their shafts. There is no free rotation around the shaft. There might develop a scenario when a small gear that is known as the reverse idler is slid between the two gears. The function of this gear also called the idler gear is to mesh the two gears together. This enables it to change the direction of the rotation, but it does not hamper the gear ration in any way.

The method of working of reverse gears is not as complex as it seems. When the reverse gear is selected, the gear teeth of these gears are meshed. There is absolutely no aid from the mechanism that seeks to synchronize these gears. This is one of the primary reasons why the output shaft must now move, once a reverse is selected. That mean a car must be stopped when you want to select the reverse gear. Many automobiles have a mechanism wherein the input shaft also stops spinning when reverse gears are selected. This decreases the grinding that accompanies the selection of reverse when there is an inertial spinning of the input shaft.

Car companies do not necessarily uses the same reverse technologies across all makes. Advanced technologies make possible the use of sophisticated reverse gears in modern cars. Of course, these cars come with a hefty price tag. But, more often than not a mechanism is used which stop the transmission of the input shaft. If this is not done the vehicle produces a whining sound. This is why all car manufacturers use the idler that, as aforementioned, can be inserted between the two gears. This procedure reduces the accompanying noise to a great extent and in the service manual of many companies; you can find a mention of this system as a “noise reduction system”.

A new kind of reverse technology has entered the market in the recent times, called ‘spur reverse technology’. This technology has made a few improvements to the one that have been listed above. But, it has compromised on a few aspects like, robustness, engagements, and noise. But it has found acceptability because there is limited driving that takes place in reverse.

Micro Reality Racing: What Is All the Excitement About Micro Reality Stock Car Racing?

[ad_1]

Have you ever been at a fair, festival, company picnic, or other indoor or outdoor gathering of people and seen a huge racetrack that is about the size of a two car garage? Did this racetrack have a huge crowd of people around it screaming their lungs out with excitement? Perhaps this racetrack was under the canopy of a huge inflatable tent with a checkered flag design on top? When you moved in closer to see what the excitement was all about, did you find four to six 1/10th scale Sprint Cup Replica NASCAR cars being driven by remote control from full-sized steering wheels? If so, then what you have witnessed is Micro Reality Racing action. Micro Reality Stock Car Racing is an attraction that has been around for about 15 years and it has quickly swept the nation as one of the most addictive amusements for kids ages 3 to 83. It was invented in Atlantic, Iowa, by three brothers known as the Namanny Brothers. They took a great money-making idea that they invented and decided to mass produce it so that other entrepreneurs could have the opportunity to create a great part-time or full-time income providing racing excitement to patrons at public and private gatherings of lots of people.

There are different formats that a Micro Reality event may have. The three main options are pay-per-play, private event rental, and fundraiser. A pay-per-play event is one where the Micro Reality Racing business operates as a vendor, sets up the track in a public place, and charges each individual racer to pick a car and race for either a set amount of time or a set amount of laps. A typical race would be between 2 and 3 minutes or 12 to 15 laps. A typical charge to race would be between 3 dollars and 5 dollars, depending on the type of event, the region, and the demographics of the crowd. Sometimes vendors will offer multi-race discounts, such as two races for 5 dollars. Typical venues for pay-per-play events are fairs, festivals, shopping malls, car shows and carnivals. The main drawback to this type of event is that the racing revenue is dependent on several factors, such as weather, location, and crowd turnout. Although the potential is there to make a significant amount of income from events lasting anywhere from 2 to 14 days, there is also the possibility of losing money, in the event that the revenue does not exceed the space rental, fuel, lodging, insurance, payments to helpers, food, and other expenses the business will encounter.

A private rental is when the Micro Reality Stock Car Racing track is hired out by a party planner or event coordinator to appear at a specific time and place to offer the patrons of the event unlimited racing for the duration of the event. Instead of being paid per race by the event patrons, the Micro Reality business is paid by the organizers of the event or by the event coordinator to provide unlimited racing for an agreed upon number of hours. This type of arrangement is better for the Micro Reality Racing business owner, as the money is guaranteed and he is usually paid an up-front deposit of 50%, with the balance being paid at the conclusion of the event. With a satisfied event coordinator, the Micro Reality track is guaranteed repeat business for years, if the event is annual. The event planner will also schedule a well-run operation for other functions they have planned throughout the year. There is also a good potential for referrals to other event coordinators. The types of events that private rentals are used for are birthday parties, corporate hospitality events, company picnics, team building retreats and church outings.

A fund-raiser is similar to a pay-per-play event, but there is usually a revenue share between the Micro Reality Stock Car Racing business and the event coordinators. The revenue share will be anywhere from a 90/10 split up to a 50/50 split. At this type of event, sometimes the track owner and event coordinators will agree to use a ticket system so the revenue can be tracked.

A Micro Reality Racing System consists of 18 modular track sections that are similar to folding tables with only two legs. There are twelve 15 degree Curved sections and six straight sections. The track can be configured up to 9 different layouts, anything from a small 10′ x 10′ circle all the way up to a 25′ by 30′ Indianapolis Brickyard layout. There are also various oval, superspeedway oval, and asymmetric layouts that can be set up. The cars are adorned with replica NASCAR paint schemes, and usually between four and six cars are raced at one time. The drivers operate the vehicles from behind full-sized steering consoles that are wired with radio controls on the inside. Most successful track owners also track laps with a digital lap counter. Some vendors use a computer and lap counting software which displays race statistics on an LCD monitor.

There are many different ways that a Micro Reality Stock Car Racing system can entertain the crowd at your next event. Although there are many variations in events and venues, the one thing that will be consistent among them all, is the high-level excitement in the crowd and the Micro Reality Racing participants.

7 Top Family Bonding Road Trip Games

[ad_1]

Family Interaction Game #1. “I Spy” – with variations

No road trip would be complete without a (many) games of “I Spy”.

This works well for younger kids especially. Take turns to look for something the other players have to guess correctly. You begin your turn by saying “I spy with my little eye something beginning with a (letter)_____”. The other player tries to guess it from the surrounding items or countryside. The person who correctly guesses gets to have the next turn.

Variations. How about I spy with my little eye something with a colour of_______, or I spy with my little eye something that is associated with_______ eg flying (bird, plane), milking, ploughing, riding (horse, bike, car etc)

Family Interaction Games #2. Geography Game

This is a great game for players (old and young) to brush up on their world knowledge.

The first player thinks of a place or country (say London). The next player has to think of a place or town or city with the last letter of the previous place mentioned. In this case it would be N, (for Naples), being the last letter of London, and so on. The game continues until someone gets stumped and cannot think of an appropriate place. Each place, town or city can only be used once.

Family Interaction Games #3. When I was Young / When you were born

From experience, kids love to hear about 2 things especially – when they were born and when their parents were young, like themselves.

The game is started by one or both the parents retelling stories of their childhood and events surrounding the birth of the children. Tales relating to the parents schooling, how they travelled to school, how far they walked to school and favourite/worst teachers.

Events at the birth relating to the dash to the hospital, first impressions at the birth, some major character traits and first words are all great conversation starters.

Family Interaction Games #4. Math – Number Plate Bingo

Good game for learning number recognition skills.

Each player lists out numbers 1-50. Then they are to look for those numbers on number plates. The one who completes their list first is the winner. To make this game spin out a little longer only number plates of a certain state or color can be used.

Family Interaction Games #5. My best, my most scary, my best…

Each child (and the parents) try to remember a certain event in their lives (or from their imagination) from the choices below or make your own: (each choice represents 1 round). Players agree on the type of event before each round.

My most scary moment My best time My favorite holiday My most stressful event

Each player then recounts the event in their life (actual or imagined). After each round the family members vote whose story is best, based on on originality and graphic detail The one with the most votes wins the round. The one with the most winning rounds after 5 rounds wins.

Family Interaction Games #6. Maths – Number Search

Each player (kids and adults included) lists 1 – 100 in a column and the winner is the first player that finds all the numbers on the list by finding the number words or symbols on advertisements, road speed signs and distance signposts. Write each occurrence against the item on your list as you find it.

Family Interaction Games #7. Car Make/Model Reversii

This will have the whole car in fits of laughter…guaranteed! If you see a Cadillac Eldorado (for instance) whiz past the players try and quickly say the make and model spelled BACKWARDS. So for this example the kids will be trying to say “Callidac” (Cadillac spelled backwards) and the pronunciation would be something like Call-i-dac.

Then for the model Odarodle (Eldorado spelled backwards) they would try to say O-dar-odle. Once people are trying to say these words quickly, as other cars zoom past, it quickly turns into a real laugh… you’ll remember this game for years. (I don’t know of anyone else who has played this game apart from our family – so you could say it’s exclusive.)

I sincerely hope that these games will help the whole family have a great holiday…

Auto Insurance Quote – BIPD and Uninsured Motorist Coverage

[ad_1]

How many of you have sat down to get an auto insurance quote and quickly realized you don’t know what you are looking at? Getting an auto insurance quote can be downright frustrating, but the following can help you through two major steps of the process!

First off, what does BIPD stand for? When looking at your auto insurance policy BIPD is the area that deals with the liability coverage to your vehicle, or, the coverage used to pay for the other party’s damages when you are at-fault for an accident. BIPD stands for Bodily Injury and Property Damage liability and here is how to read those three blocks you will be requested to fill out.

(1) Auto insurance quotes online will make you select the liability limits for your vehicle in three different boxes. The first box is for the property damage to the individual in the other vehicle. In short, if you have 100/300/100 BIPD coverage on your vehicle, you will have up to $100,000 to pay for injuries to each individual in the other vehicle.

(2) The second box of your auto insurance quotes online with respect to BIPD is for the total amount you can pay for injuries to passengers in the other vehicle. For example, if you have 100/300/100 BIPD on your vehicle, you will have up to $300,000 total to pay for injuries to the passengers in the other vehicle or vehicles.

(3) The final box of your auto insurance quotes online for BIPD is the total amount you can pay for physical damage to the other auto or autos in an accident that was your fault. To put it plainly, if you have 100/300/100 BIPD coverage on your vehicle, you will have up to $100,000 to pay for physical damage to the other vehicle or vehicles.

Uninsured motorist coverage basically works in reverse of liability coverage in that if you are hit by an uninsured motorist and it is their fault, the repairs or medical bills are paid under your uninsured motorist coverage. However, there are some tricky aspects of uninsured motorist coverage when it comes to your auto insurance quotes; here is how uninsured motorist coverage breaks down.

(1) The first part of your uninsured motorist coverage on auto insurance quotes is just the same as BIPD except in reverse. In other words, if you have 100/300/100 in your uninsured motorist coverage then you have up to $100,000 to pay medical bills to the passenger or driver in your vehicle. This is, of course, if the uninsured motorist is responsible for the accident.

(2) The next part of your uninsured motorist coverage on auto insurance quotes is also the same as BIPD in reverse. For example, if you have 100/300/100 in your uninsured motorist coverage then you have up to $300,000 to pay medical bills to all of the passengers in your vehicle.

(3) The final third of uninsured motorist coverage is where it gets tricky with auto insurance quotes. Why? Because depending on the state where you live it may or may not be available at all! This would be the part of your quote that has to do with the property damage to your vehicle. Some states don’t offer uninsured motorist property damage coverage and some do.

I Used to Look to Fort Worth for A Numerology Reading

[ad_1]

Fort Worth, Texas is primarily known as the start of the West in Texas. It’s also known for rodeos, cattle, horses and the Basses. Few know it as the once home of numerology. But I did.

During my early years, I discovered psychics and loved the fun of finding what they saw. In that same era, I discovered Marie Norris, the best numerologist Fort Worth ever had. Her father had been an army officer at Ft. Worth, the actual army fort. But she was as far from that world as anyone could be even forty years ago.

She said she had studied numerology at Stanford University. I had no way of checking that. But I needed no degree to realize she was on the payroll of several Texas oil companies to help discover oil. She was also a Fort Worth society favorite. Often, they would hire her to give numerology readings to their guests during an event or party.

They were willing to overlook that her presence often meant roaches and other such pests when she left. That’s why they preferred that she have her own contained area, preferably a guest or pool house. It was also a great way to offer privacy.

Many well-known, monied family names of Fort Worth were in her phone directory. They enjoyed the out-of-the-ordinary world she drew them into. Many claimed she was their key to more money.

One thing they all agreed on is they preferred she come to them, not they to her. Her home was in an older area near downtown. Due to Ms. Norris’ love of animals, she often had far too many cats and even more mice and roaches. Stacks of newspapers appeared where there should have been furniture. Her home was a bit hard to attend. In fact, for me, it was the ghastly smell that caused me to leave the house while she did her hundreds of calculations.

At first, I had no idea what she was doing. She would compile rows and rows of mathematical calculations on the front and back of several pages of paper. She would nod off while calculating. I was afraid she was asleep. But then she nodded back and continued her work.

The first time I saw her she insisted that I would be in a green car the next time I came. I blew that off since I had a somewhat new red car. But the next time I came, I drove up in a green car. It was difficult to get an appointment since she had no secretary or answering machine. But she intrigued me, and I kept coming back to see what she saw for me in the numbers.

All she ever asked was my name and birth date. I really didn’t understand her purpose was to create a numerology reading for me. Before, my psychics simply used cards or such. She would then tell me where I would live, who I would be with and what were the best things for me.

Since she didn’t teach me about numerology, I never knew much about her occupation. One day I called for an appointment and sadly found she had died. Sigh.

She seems so foreign to me now when I can find a good numerologist online. But I’ll never have a personal or interesting numerology reading again the way she did it.

Unlisted Drivers Can Cause Your Auto Insurance Rate to Skyrocket

[ad_1]

Very few circumstances can cause your auto insurance rates to rise the way an unlisted driver can.

First, the basics. Auto insurance policies are written to cover your car, not necessarily the operator. What this means on the surface is that as long as you have given an individual “permissive use” of your vehicle, should that person become involved in an automobile accident, there should be coverage. The type of coverage that can be applied, of course, would depend on the type of car insurance you originally purchased. For instance, in the event your “permissive driver” is involved in an at fault accident, and you have purchased collision insurance coverage, collision would pay for the damages to your car, minus your deductible. But conversely, even if that driver was involved in a not at fault accident, you can expect your insurance company to take a closer look at your policy come renewal time.

As an example, assume that you loan your car to a friend on a one time basis for whatever reason. You can establish that this friend is not a consistent driver of your car, and you can verify that your friend does not live with you. What happens if your friend, the unlisted driver, becomes involved in an at fault car accident? Under the circumstances, your insurance policy would pay for the damages to your vehicle. Even if your friend has his own policy, that policy is not responsible to pay for your damages.

Will this create problems for you with the insurance company? Probably.

Normally, when insurance companies pay for an at fault accident, you can expect to suffer the consequences. Even though you are making payment on the relevant premiums, your insurance company will “penalize” you if you are involved in at fault accident. How is the penalty imposed? By way of a higher auto insurance rate.

And what about the fact that you permitted a friend to drive? Will that also boost your chances for a higher auto insurance rate? Probably so. Insurance companies tend not to respond well to “unlisted” drivers, at fault or not. In fact, with an unlisted driver in the driver’s seat, count on your insurance company to launch a claims investigation into the circumstances. More specifically, they will be looking into the possibility that the driver could live in your home. And, more than likely, they will also examine the driving history of the unlisted driver as well as whether or not that driver has insurance of his own.

Should you expect an increase in your auto insurance rates? Most definitely if the investigation divulges factors that increase your risk rating.

If the insurance company investigation reveals that the unlisted driver has a poor driving record, you can be fairly sure that this will be used against you when your auto insurance rate is calculated at the end of your insurance policy period. By association, if you allow an irresponsible driver to operate your insured vehicle, your risk scoring increases. The higher the risk, the higher the rates. And, if the insurance company can determine that the unlisted driver does not have his own insurance, your insurance company will certainly want to know why? Is it because that driver lives with you?

Applying for insurance without disclosing relevant and applicable risk data – such as the identity of all drivers in that residence – is what auto insurance policies define as “misrepresentation”. If a subsequent claims or underwriting investigation determines that you failed to reveal all drivers in the household, it is likely that the auto insurance policy will be cancelled for misrepresentation. In the event that happens, there will be no coverage for that at fault-unlisted driver accident.

Behave responsibly if you must loan your car to other drivers. Should it be revealed that those drivers are unlisted members of your household, you’re in for some major problems. If the unlisted driver is simply a one-time, responsible driver you can expect to be questioned, but you can also expect to be covered. In the long run, however, once your auto insurance policy is up for renewal, you can expect to face either a non-renewal, or a higher auto insurance rate. Unlisted drivers can be “expensive”.

Do Not Buy Alloy Wheels

[ad_1]

…Until you read this article

Alloy wheels are automobile wheels which are made from aluminum or magnesium metal alloy.

Alloy wheels differ from normal steel wheels, because of their lighter weight, which improves performance.

Alloy wheels are also better heat conductors than steel wheels which improves heat dissipation from the brakes, which reduces the chance of brake failure in more demanding driving conditions.

Alloy wheels are also considered more attractive than hubcaps and are perfect for adding a touch of class to your motor.

Alloy wheels are lighter than steel wheels and so performance is increased.

Alloy wheels are becoming increasingly popular and so most manufacturers fit these as standard on their new cars or offer an option to upgrade to them.

Magnesium alloy wheels, or mag wheels, are sometimes used on racing cars, in place of heavier steel or aluminium wheels, for better performance. However alloy wheels are more expensive than standard wheels, and even though they are becoming more available than before, they are not standard on many cars.

Granite Alloy wheels are compatible with most tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).

Steel wheels were gradually replaced by alloy wheels in luxury cars because these wheels could dissipate a greater amount of heat caused by the friction from the road surface.

Many times alloy wheels are misunderstood to be magnesium wheels. With regularly maintained alignment and balance, coupled with proper cleaning, alloy wheels offer both an aesthetic and a performance advantage for the car.

Any car no matter what it is will look better with alloy wheels over hub caps, so long as they are not over the top.

The main downside to having alloy wheels is that your insurance will be higher as the car or the alloys are at more risk of being stolen.

Although you can buy steel, aluminum or custom alloy wheels, the chrome plated wheel is the king of kings.

Important Tips on Wheelcare

Do not have your expensive alloy wheels steam cleaned.

All alloy wheels should be installed using a torque wrench.

Most alloy wheels are made in either one, two or three piece construction types. Plus-sizing your alloy wheels and tires also impacts your braking system computer and sensors, which potentially could lead to braking failure. Blemished wheels are alloy wheels that have cosmetic defects and/or imperfections in the face of the wheel and therefore cannot be sold as 1st quality wheels.

Blemished alloy wheels do not have any finish warranty and are sold as is and all sales are final. Tyres are fitted, alloy wheels are balanced. If fitting alloy wheels yourself please take care in fitting,we would always recommend specialist fitting at a respectable garage or fitting specialist.

Fitting alloy wheels normally reduces your car’s unsprung weight — in layman’s terms this means a reduction in rotating mass at the ends of your suspension components, giving you improved steering feel and greater braking response.

The contradiction here is that alloy wheels are meant to be stronger and lighter than conventional steel wheels, so bad road surfaces should not worry them; but in reality most of the fancy alloys available in India are imported from Taiwan and other such places and some of these wheels do not meet stringent quality standards. Like all normal wheels, alloy wheels need to be balanced and aligned.

Most alloy wheels are cast into a mold, and the end result is a smoother ride and less tyre stress than the traditional steel wheel and hubcaps.

Steel wheels are a great way to provide basic transportation for a basic car, but for those who want to extend the life of their tires and have a smoother ride, alloy wheels are the way to go.

Basically alloy wheels were named for its attraction, fashion touch and also for its durability.

Types of alloy wheels: Aluminum Alloy Wheels: the aluminum alloy wheel has a density of about only one third compared to steel wheels. Magnesium Alloy Wheels: these types of wheels are even lighter, having a density slightly less than one-quarter than that of steel wheels.

Advantages: The aluminum cast alloy wheels are cheap and affordable. Alloys (alloy wheels)Wheels made from aluminium alloy are lighter, better-looking and less prone to corrosion than steel ones. Cast alloy wheels are formed by pouring molten aluminium into a one-piece mould; more expensive forged alloys, sometimes made from magnesium, are formed from a single billet in a high-pressure stamping process.

When they are bent or damaged, the performance suffers. Aerodynamics also influences fuel consumption and performance: the easier a car slips through the air, the less fuel it uses and the quicker it can go.

The Future of Burglar Alarm Systems

[ad_1]

Burglar alarms have been designed and manufactured in exactly the same way for decades. It’s almost like alarm panel manufacturers are detached from the effects of progress and technology. Many alarm panels are still designed today for use with telephone landlines, even though the rest of the world outside of the security industry knows that the public switched telephone network, PSTN or POTS, will not be around for too much longer.

Luckily for all of us, there are a few manufacturers that have listened to what consumers want from today’s appliances and have started to Internet-enable their equipment. Although this is a step in the right direction, the mindset regarding the “brains” of the system is still firmly fixed on keeping the logic “client-side”. This means that all programming and “decisions” that an alarm panel has to make when it detects an intruder is all contained within the electronic circuit board that is installed in the home or business. We will not see real progress until this logic is moved server-side.

Almost everything is moving toward the Cloud, so Burglar, Medical and Fire Alarm panels should be no different. Instead of standing and making single key presses into an alarm panel remote keypad, a technician should be able to log into a web site with a web browser and fully program the system via a graphical user interface. All that is required of the client-side electronics is that they detect an open or closed circuit and forward that information into the Cloud where a controlling application will decide what action should be taken, if any.

When an existing Customer moves away from the protected home or business and another Person or Company moves in, it will be simple for the Alarm Company to change the system parameters to suit the new Customer. This will remove the requirement for a technician to roll a truck to the premises just to make a simple change or two to the alarm system programming. This has to be a far greener way for Alarm Companies to work.

It is sometimes the case where an alarm panel or wiring is attacked by an intruder and oftentimes the equipment is damaged beyond repair. In such cases, all of the system programming that can take up to an hour to complete will be lost for good. Add to that the damage caused by lightning strikes, electrical power surges, home repairs, general accidents and natural disasters, it becomes clear that as much as possible should be handled on the server side where it is safe from harm.

The arming and disarming of alarm systems also needs to be reviewed as consumers look at their alarm keypads like antiquated relics from decades past. Modern consumers have a keypad on their smart phone and they want to use it everything. Alarm panel manufacturers need to realise that this includes alarm panels too!

Understanding the Purpose of Foot Rails

[ad_1]

Foot rails are very common today in bars. They’re used in the home or in commercial bars. They are fixtures that make your feet comfortable and they can make any bar look classy.

Apart from its aesthetic sense, foot rails have a purpose. By its name alone, it’s meant to provide comfort to the feet whether a person is standing or seated on a chair. It can be quite tiring to just stand with both feet on the ground but with a foot rail in place, you can stand with the other feet elevated for added comfort.

Foot rails can also be added to trucks. To succeed in the installation process, you have to get the proper measurement and read the instructions well. Holes will also have to be drilled on the truck’s body or chassis to attach the rails using screws. The purpose of foot rails in trucks is to serve as resting place for the feet. It also makes for a unique look.

It’s amazing how the plain tubing has been made into a more functional fixture. Without this material, the bar could have remained simple and a drab. The fact is, foot rails are available today in different materials which means you can match it with the theme of your interior space.

Wood is a popular and classic choice but other materials have evolved to provide people with more choices. There’s the metal foot rail that has become a preferred option these days. It can be made from stainless steel, aluminum or brass. The brass rail evokes an elegant look because of its yellow finish that resembles the color of gold. Finishes vary as well such as the polished copper, bronze, brass, stainless steel, satin stainless steel, satin nickel and powder coated colors.

Foot rails need not be a straight line all the time. With so many companies manufacturing this fixture nowadays, customization is the current trend. There are those that can expertly bend and miter foot rail tubings to fit any bar measurement especially those that have corners. Foot rails can also be ordered in specific lengths for people who want to install the fixture on their own.

Other components are required to complete any foot rail project. These are the end caps, flush fittings, flanges and the post and floor brackets.

The end caps complete the look of your foot rails. They can be flat, round or decorative depending on your preference. This component is easy to install you just need to slip it on the end of the tubing. But you can use a strong glue to keep it secured.

Foot rail brackets come in different types as well. The combination type is one which can be mounted to the floor and to the bar itself. These are secured using the screws. For one foot rail, you will need several brackets which should be placed at a distance of six inches from the end of the tubing or at least three brackets for an eight-foot rail.

Preparation is key to installing a great foot rail. This ensures that the measurements and your materials are correct.
